As soon as I started watching this JD went running into the other room to grab his “guitar” and came right back to my side and started “playing” with feeling! Even wincing expressively and raising his eyebrows with his eyes closed! Oh my god – so cute – he’s never done that before!! He keeps strumming and shouting the word “geh’shtar”! I’m sure he remembers it from his days in utero. What a kid!

Emmie, my beautiful niece, has inspired me to revisit this goal. If not now, soon. She has been taking guitar lessons for just a few short months and is now picking up songs right and left – and learning all these techniques – and I am just SO impressed. She doesn’t quite get what talent she has – to learn things so quickly. It’s quite amazing and I am so proud of her.

GUITAR and PIANO! Just can’t go wrong with devoting time of your life to learning these two things.

Probably take another guitar class – since this goal is not exactly a beginning guitar type of goal…

Identify other songs I think have beautiful guitar work

Dust off my guitar and practice more…

Talk to Emmy about it and encourage her little old self.
