I’ve decided to consider everything around me as fodder for my creative side. So, from here on out, I will look at the messes-that can be found in small groupings in every room of my house, as potential still lifes. Its really great because I know that no one will accidently disturb the pile of shoes, or papers, or dishes, or kleenex balls. I can start a sketch and come back to it- in a day or a week—or even a month! Never any set-up or take down to worry about. I am so lucky to live in such a rich environment for my art.
