be more organized
Untitled 3 months ago

Ah…being organized. I am amazed at how much easier life gets after we organize our cluttered lives. I was dying of boredom one day and decided that I’m going to organized my room and keep it that way. I cleaned out my entire closet and all of my drawers. My family and friends thought I was going crazy for doing this. It seemed like I was moving out of my room to live somewhere else. I took out old books, papers, random trash. I remember reading somewhere a long time ago about clutter: “if you doubt it once, chunk it.” So, I stuck to that rule and realized that it really does work. I’m so proud of myself that I have to leave my closet open and admire it for a few mins before I close it again. I show off my entire room to everyone who walks into it. And I’ve kept it that way for a while now too:)

you’ve done it good! i wish i was like you!
Books and my desk is not the problem, but the problem is clothes… How do you keep them organized? do you have any tips you can give?

well honestly, all i can really say is that it’s up to you to keep it organized after cleaning it all out. i don’t have that big of a closet but i have a ton of clothes. i try and hang the short sleeved shirts and long sleeved shirts separately. i leave my winter coats towards the back of the closet. i also have shelves but i keep my traditional outfits on those. i guess if i didn’t have those outfits than i could use the shelves for skirts and other random clothes. i use the drawers of my dresser a lot so that helps take some space out of the closet. ummm…color coordinating your shirts might help out a bit if you don’t think that’s too crazy of an idea. and as soon as you wash clothes, just hang them up right away. the main thing is don’t be lazy! i hope that helps!
