I have a long-term-loaner wheel, and love it; toy with the idea of making my own, and know I’d want to research the make and workings of more wheels than I’ve yet seen in action.

Given the relative ease of this, I do declare I’m spoiled for drop spindles, which I never really quite got the hang of (except perhaps for plying).
