I am wanting to move to NYC. I have been going there for the past 30 years and it holds a lot for me career wise and passion wise. Does anyone have tips on how to prep to move to NYC? I have to make a time table, hoard lots of cash and get rid of stuff. Anyone already doing that and can offer advice?

*I have a place to live up there already I just need the job and the money to make it.

HI! I moved to NYC about 8 months ago. I didn’t come up here with a ton of cash, but I am still able to make it. It’s hard, yes, but it’s so fun! And it’s also a challenge!

I just gave my two week notice this afternoon. I plan to be up there by May 25th. My main concern is finding and excellent job other than that I look forward to enjoying the city very much.
