I’VE LIVED IN NEW YORK ALL MY LIFE BUT I MOVED AWAY LAST YEAR.AND JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE I LOVE NEW YORK SO I’M GOING BACK IN JUNE.I’M STARTING COLLEGE AND I’M GETTING MY OWN APARTMENT.IF U NEED HELP ON PRICES,FUN STUFF TO DO,NIGHTLIFE OR ANYTHING ELSE U CAN ASK ME.

I DON’T REALLY LIKE PAYING ALOT OF MONEY FORMOST PEOPLE DO">THINGS.SO I KNO SOME REALLY CHEAPNO THEY ARE NOT IN THE GHETTO">PLACES

SO JUST HIT ME UP.

HEY MARK.IF U GET AN APRTMENT,YOU SHOULD GET ONE WHERE LANDLORD PAYS THE HEATING BILL. REGARDLESS OF WETHER U ARE LATE WITH RENT U WILL ALWAYS BE WARM OR COOL BECAUSE THE LANDLORD HAS TO HEAT THE WHOLE BUILDING.

Which area in Harlem is best?

I’m curious as to which areas are the best. I would love to live in Harlem, have a 13 y/o who is entering HS in the fall – and I just want the best, near schools, near shops, etc.

I would love to live in Harlem, but because I’m not there and have no sense of East, West, Upper, Lower… it’s getting confusing to me.

WELL BROOKLYN AND HARLEM ARE THE CHEAPEST PLACES TO LIVE. THEY 400-600 A MONTH RENTS. AND THEY ARE IN NICE NEIGHBORHOODS. AND THEY TRANPORTATION ON ALMOST EVERY BLOCK.

I got an apartment in BK! I’m moving in with a friend who’s sister is moving out. It’s $1,100 a month, but we’re splitting the cost. I think it’s in Park Slope or Prospect Park. It’s like a 15 min walk from Brooklyn College
