Carolinas Trip:
Georgetown, SC

Huntington Beach State Park, SC
Emerald Isle & Atlantic Beach, NC (not a good beach!)
Currituck to Cape Hatteras, NC. Stayed in Kill Devil Hills, right near the Wright Brothers Museum :)

(Here’s a little secret: On the way to Cape Hatteras, there’s miles and miles of gorgeous unexplored seashore. If you stop on the side of the road and climb the dunes, you will find a nearly private beach with fantastic shells. I found an almost perfect 8” whelk.)

California Trip:
San Jose, CA (Stayed in Sunnyvale)
Palo Alto, CA to see Stanford
San Francisco, CA
Santa Cruz, CA

I have never been to Cali before, and it was so awesome! My boyfriend Jon works out there, so I stayed with him. We also went together on the Carolinas trip. I flew over the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains, and had plane transfers in Las Vegas and Phoenix. I only wish I had more time to see those areas, and I can’t wait til I do!
